List of authors and books banned by Hitler comes to light

A list of books was drawn up between 1938 and 1941 which contained titles of pacifist, Jewish and foreign writers whose letters would be razed by fire in the squares of Germany marking the beginning of Nazi censorship and persecution.

Thanks to a Berlin citizen, Wolfgang Both, an investigation was carried out to know that great list of books who tried to be condemned to oblivion. The research was started in 2008 and today the explanations of each of the works can be consulted on the page www.berlin.de by searching by author or title.

Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the arrival of Hitler to power, this list has been published in one of the events organized this year under the slogan "Diversity Destroyed”.

I was born in Madrid on August 27, 1988 and since then I started a work of which there is no example. Fascinated by both numbers and letters and a lover of the unknown, that is why I am a future graduate in Economics and Journalism, interested in understanding life and the forces that have shaped it. Everything is easier, more useful and more exciting if, with a look at our past, we can improve our future and for that… History.
